We just stumbled on this photo from the first recording session we did with Mikey Pauker to produce his post-folk record, Extraordinary Love. The album, produced by Diwon, mixes folk, reggae and pop in the vain of Imagine Dragons, Trevor Hall and The XX. We just got back from recreating all the sounds live at a beautiful theater in Detroit and are amped for the CD release party at Hotel Cafe in L.A. this June 11th.

“I Dream of Jeannie” is one of the many remix ideas that Diwon messed with but did not use on his TV-themed, free release Syndication. At eleven tracks, all songs are sampled using the television theme song of the corresponding track title. From Breaking Bad, Dexter and Portlandia, to The Twilight Zone, Addams Family and The Andy Griffith Show, Syndication adds a grimy ‘boom-trap’ spin to some of TV’s most celebrated syndications since the days of coat hanger antennas.

Just in time to ring in the New Year, Bonhom releases two new remixes of their single, “NYE”. The original slowly builds from a bass-driven atmospheric refrain into a party rock anthem, while the remixes infuse the song with the energy of dubstep, nu disco and house.
The first remix, created by Plant Music founder All Dom Wrong, brings an ethereal vibe with his fresh hybrid of techno and house. With the second mix, Producer/DJ duo Neutron delivers an in-your-face, headbanging dubstep track. Neutron, comprised of producers Laze and Royal, are the team behind some of the hottest hits from Tyga, the Game, Chris Brown, Ke$ha and more.
“NYE” was produced by Bonhom, a new pop project co-created by two musical masterminds: singer-songwriter/producer, James Coleman and DJ/producer/songwriter, Diwon. Together, they produce their own unique brand of epic dreamlike pop. As we count down to New Year’s Eve, we will undoubtedly sing along as Coleman belts out his affirmations: “We’re Traveling Our Destiny, This Is Our Message Feed: It Feels Like New Years Eve, And We’re Ready For Anything”.

Azealia Banks is a great example of staying true to your grind and not giving up. Just after she played 212 for her former label, XL, they dropped her and she funded the video herself only to be called ‘the future of music’ by Kanye with shout outs by Gweneth Paltrow, now she’s at 28 million hits and changing the sound of hip hop. Y-Love trades verses with Azealia on this Diwon remix of Van Vogue.
Our favorite two songs of the moment are “Lonely Potion” and “Sad Songs On The Radio” and they both happen to be on the new #IAmJesseScott mixtape! Jesse Scott is a Singer/ Songwriter from an inner city neighborhood of Oklahoma City who moved to the big Los Angeles. He blends his own style of country swag and west coast pop. Much like Frank Ocean’s latest release, this mixtape is a breath of fresh air in the urban cookie-cutter market.
This video was a one day shoot on Rodeo Dr. and Melrose. Shot and edited by Chilean director Danny Knust and directed by Danny Knust and Erez Safar, the single was produced by Diwon and stars Israeli rap superstar SHI 360 and fresh triple threat Cobe Jones, Nathan Sela, and Y-Love (the world’s first gay black Jewish hip-hop artist). The song features an early Missy Elliot/Timbaland sound and uncensored Jewish pride by artists “rocking it since the Babylon era.”
We had a lot of fun with Patrick Scott Vest making this video! ‘Famous’ is the video where I embrace the rapper side of Y-Love; where I show that, inside of all the messages, I’m still an MC with the same dream we all have.” – Y-Love. “Famous” premiered on the front page of Artist Direct.
Check out this epic trailer for Monopoly by Inhabit Bancs director, Matthew Stubstad. Richie Benjamin receives a mysterious gift, and quickly finds himself thrust into a world of sex, violence and real estate as he struggles to build an empire. Based on the board game by Parker Bros/Hasbro.

Matthew Stubstad who we brought on to direct our upcoming, Bonhom “Live for Now” music video which will premiere on an 4th, produced this epic Swimmer’s Itch Guard commercial which features James Coleman of Bonhom’s music. It’s so Awkwardly Awesome!
Studio Bancs took over Hollywood Tower’s for Bonhom’s “Animal” music video. This was filmed on the balcony of Marilyn Monroe’s old suite which is now Laze’s suite! Animal is the latest single of Bonhom, with the chorus “Sinful, Liberal, Animal, …How shall I tame thee,” the song brings sex and swagger in a way only Coleman and Jagger could.
The video stars the stunning Susannah Hart Jones at the famed Hollywood Towers, bringing a mix of vintage Americana and animal craziness to the sky-high Bonhom track.
Neutron’s latest track, “Fire Circle” has not stopped being blasted out these speakers, check out their remix of Bonhom’s “Live For Now” single and be on the look out for their collabrative “NYE” track!
On the heels of both their extolled remix for Lana Del Rey’s “Born To Die” and pastiched visual presentation of “Mr. Rogers” Neighborhood, emcee/producer duo Kyle Rapps & Diwon continue their repertoire of dementing TV show samples into a gritty Boom-Trap aesthetic, with their Breaking Bad inspired video of the same title. Donning the show’s trademark Hazmat suit and safety goggles, Rapps takes on the role of a swagged out Walter White. “Breaking Bad” is just one of the many TV themed sample flips that you’ll find on their forthcoming, duly titled mixtape, Syndication.
